Commuters who have had to detour from their regular route over the Juniper Bridge south of 325th Street are now able to use the new bridge.
Since January 10, Juniper Avenue had been closed, approximately 350’ south from the intersection of 325th Street, for a bridge replacement project. Iowa Bridge and Culvert, L.C. of Washington, was awarded the project with a bid of $240,684.43.
The old bridge had to be replaced because it had a weight restriction and was narrow, causing a detour for larger vehicles and equipment to get around the area.
