A Washington man turned himself in on a warrant Saturday for second-degree sexual abuse, a class B felony.

Court documents show on May 10th, the Washington Police Department was advised of sexual abuse involving a child under the age of 14. The victim indicated during an interview at a Child Protection Center that the alleged events happened around 2017 when the victim was eight or nine years old. A warrant was issued last Thursday for 19-year-old Johnny Diaz’s arrest, and he is being held at the Washington County Jail on a $25,000 cash only bail.
