A Washington man was arrested on a warrant Monday for charges of second-degree sexual abuse, a class B felony, and third-degree sexual abuse, a class C felony.

Court records show the alleged events occurred on December 28, 2021. The Washington Police Department received a report on December 31st of sexual abuse involving two minor females. The first stated during Child Protection Center interviews that while she was 13 years old at the time of the incident, then 17-year-old Devon Charlie Eugene Knerr who was believed to be intoxicated, forced the victim into a room and forced her to perform oral and vaginal sex. The other victim who was 14 years old at the time alleged that while the other victim was upstairs Knerr placed her on the couch, fondled her breasts and placed his hand over her pubic area. There were additional witnesses who corroborated portions of the victims’ statements. Knerr was transported to the Washington County Jail on a $35,000 cash only bond.
