Golfers from Washington, Mid-Prairie and Sigourney all head to the Iowa Girls State Golf Meet this Thursday and Friday.
The Washington Demons qualified for the Class 3A state golf tournament for the 21st time in school history. The 3A State meet will be held at River Valley Golf Course in Adel.
The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks qualified for the Class 2A state golf tournament for the fourth time in school history and first since 2014 by finishing as team runners-up at the regional final in West Liberty. The 2A State meet will be held Thursday and Friday at Pheasant Ridge Golf Course in Cedar Falls.
The Sigourney Savages qualified for the Class 1A state golf tournament for the second straight year by winning the regional final in Lynnville. The 1A State meet will be held Thursday and Friday at the American Legion Golf Course in Marshalltown. Listen to KCII for updates from the meet.
