A Southeast Iowa Super Conference cross over softball game resulted in a win for Lone Tree on Tuesday when they welcomed Holy Trinity for a single game and the Lions emerged victorious by a 7-4 count.
Tied 4-4 after five, the Lions plated three runs in the sixth to help capture their second win in a row. The offense scattered 10 hits with Kayleigh Rundlett going 3-for-4 with two RBI and Alex Dautremont went 2-for-3 with one run knocked in. Arlie Lorack got the win in the circle tossing a complete game surrendering one earned run on seven hits and striking out nine.
The Lions move to 2-3 overall and they dual Louisa-Muscatine (6-1) tomorrow.
