Giving the No. 6 ranked class 1A team a scare is exactly what the Keota baseball team did on Thursday, but a late rally put on by visiting New London led to a 13-8 Tiger victory.

The upset-minded Eagles were in control most of the game leading 4-0 after three and 8-3 after four, but 10 consecutive Tiger (5-0) runs in the next two frames kept the New London unblemished record intact. The Eagles out hit their opponent 10 to nine with Colten Clarahan going 3-for-4 with three runs scored and Caden Clarahan also had three knocks while crossing the plate twice. Aidan Anderson finished with three RBI and a double. Colten Clarahan suffered the loss tossing five innings giving up nine runs (four earned) on three hits and nine walks.

Keota dropped to 6-3 on the summer.
