Tuesday, just after 1a.m. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office performed a traffic stop on Highway 22 near Riverside. Thirty-seven-year-old Seth William Westfall of Lone Tree was arrested on Johnson County warrants for first degree criminal mischief, a class C felony, third degree burglary, a class D felony and fourth degree theft, a serious misdemeanor.

These charges stem from a March 2021 incident where Westfall allegedly broke into the Lone Tree American Legion causing more than $11,400 total damages to the main entry door, bar exit door, storage room door and arms room door. It was also reported Westfall stole approximately $600 cash from a lockbox during the break-in. Westfall was taken to the Johnson County Jail and  released after posting $16,000 bond Tuesday. He made his initial court appearance the same day. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
