The last night of the official Juneteenth Celebrations in Washington will be this Saturday and it’s going to be capped off with a kid friendly night at Central Park. Mango Jaziel will be the food vendor for the evening.

It will all start at 6:30 pm when Caleb “The Negro Artist” Rainey will perform on the Central Park Stage and recognize local students who participated in the Uniting Through History Contest. Rainey graduated from the University of Iowa, and is a Spoken Word artist as well as an author and performer who conducts workshops for adults and youth alike.
