For the first time in 10-years, the Washington County Mini Bus will be increasing their fares. The change is set to take effect July 1st. A one-way ride in town will increase to $3.50 with a round trip costing $7.00 with all in between stops being $1.00.

Cris Gaughan  the Transit Director for Washington County Mini Bus stated that these changes are due to the rising cost. “The reason for the increase is that we have not had an increase at the Mini Bus in 10-years, the cost of fuel, maintaining our buses  and wages for our staff are the three main reasons for the price increase.”

Gaughan also noted that these changes will be permanent and not just until gas costs ease up. If you have questions about the fare increase you can contact Cris Gaughan at the Washington County Mini Bus Office.
