This past Friday and Saturday the City of Riverside celebrated its Sesquicentennial alongside its annual event, Trekfest.

The event included several bands, a demolition derby, Star Trek Costume Contest, actors who appeared in the original Star Trek television series, a parade and fireworks.

The KCII Big Red Radio was at the event and broadcasted live as part of the KCII Big Red Radio Summer Town Tour.
