The Washington County Hospital & Clinics will be sponsoring Kid’s Day at the Washington County Fair Wednesday, July 20th. Washington County Extension, Farm Bureau Financial Services, Washington Lions Club, and Washington County Public Health will also be partners in Kid’s Day.

The activities will start at 9:30 am near the Lions Stage just south of the schoolhouse, and all kids, aged pre-school through fifth grade are welcome to come and go from the event until it ends at 11 am. The Washington Lions Club will be handing out complimentary popcorn for the event, Farm Bureau Financial Services will provide free pony rides, and Washington County Hospital & Clinics will sponsor an obstacle course and a crafts station where kids can make a crown, dragon, or unicorn.

The Round Barn will also be hosting family-friendly activities throughout the day. The 4-H ELITE team will provide hands-on agriculture learning through Little Hands on the Farm and Ag Hour with Ms. Diane at 4 pm, including trips to the livestock barns for up-close animal learning. The 4-H Hall, from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m., will host STEAM lessons on topography, water table exploration, and boat race competitions.
