The Washington County Fair will begin this Sunday, July 17^th, with most of the new shows and events at the fair making their debut on Monday, July 18^th. Magicians have been a long-running tradition at the Washington County Fair, and this year, the fair board has decided to bring in a brand-new act.

The show will be called Electrifying Magic with Jay Mattioli, with two shows on the 18^th,20^th, and 21^st, three shows on July 20^th, and one final show on Friday before the Motocross race. Vice President of the Washington County Fair Board Kurt Dallmeyer talks about why they brought Mattioli for the fair.

“He’s been performing for over 20 years; he performs all over; he was a quarterfinalist on America’s Got Talent and was on Fox’s reboot of Showtime at the Apollo with Steve Harvey. He’s a first-class magician, and we are very excited to have got him.”
