Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Office will be hosting multiple seminars across the state to talk about farm leasing issues. Topics that will be covered will be how to improve tenant and landowner communications, crop economic uncertainties, and discuss the results of recent Iowa cash rent and land value surveys.

The Washington County Meeting will be held at the Washington County Extension Office at 2223 250th St, August 8th at 6 pm. The meeting will run around two and a half hours and will provide each registrant with a 100-page Farmland Leasing Arrangements book.

Pre-registration is required for the event and must be completed two days before the meeting and can be done by contacting the Washington County Extension Office. There is a registration fee of $25, with an extra fee for late registration and walk-ins.
