Talented residents of Washington County could have an opportunity to take their talents to the Iowa State Fair as the Community Center will be hosting a talent competition on Wednesday at 6:30 pm. Various acts will take to the stage as part of the Washington County Fair, with the category winners earning the opportunity to compete at the Iowa State Fair.

Kurt Dallmeyer, Vice President of the Washington County Fair Board, says that all participants need to do some prep work before showing up. “All participants should show up to the Community Center half an hour before showtime, and make sure you call ahead to confirm that you are on the schedule for the show.”

Entry for the event will be covered by a ticket purchase for the Washington County Fair, with seating being on a first-come, first-served basis, with handicap seating being available in the back of the Community Center auditorium.
