The Washington City Council met in regular session Tuesday.

The special event requests for Washington Hospice Annual 5K Memorial Walk/Run Fundraiser and a block party for 600’s East Main St were approved. A bid for a new truck for Washington Maintenance & Construction was approved. The third reading of the proposed zoning changes to the Country Club View subdivision was held, along with a continued workshop session for the new proposed changes to parking and street regulations.

No parking or street regulations were approved for a first reading. However, a first reading was held for traffic code enforcement procedures regarding parking violations and impounding vehicles.

The next city council meeting will be held on August 2nd in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
