Starting in August, 230th St in Washington will be closed to thru traffic between a quarter mile west of Lexington east to Hwy 1. This project aims to restore the road cross-section between 230th St and Lexington Blvd by re-grading the road. The project will also try to improve ditch drainage and place a new rock surface.

This project is a part of Washington County’s Five-Year Road Improvement Plan, with the project set to end on September 30th. Contact the County Engineer’s Office for questions about this project, and the entire Washington County Five-Year Road Improvement plan can be found here.
