The Washington County Extension office will partner with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach for an advanced grain marketing seminar for women. Participants will learn how and why options are traded for commodity grain and the pros and cons of different marketing strategies. The seminar also looks to improve the marketing experience that women already have by learning more about options trading and crop insurance.
The seminar costs $75 and will take place over three days at the Washington County Extension Office, August 30th, September 1st, and September 6th. A light meal will be provided at 5:30 pm before each class, with classes set to run from 6-9 pm. Registration for the seminar can be found here.
