The postseason awards officially wrapped up for the Winfield-Mt. Union/Columbus Community baseball team with a pair of players receiving all conference recognition from the Southeast Iowa Super Conference.
Nick Crow and Cael Phillips were named honorable mention for the north division. Crow led the offense with a .407 on base percentage while managing 14 hits, eight RBI, and scoring five times. The senior tossed 24 innings on the hill finishing with a 6.62 ERA. Phillips was the team’s top pitcher with a 4.78 ERA in 26 innings of work and striking out 31 batters. The sophomore stole 12 bags, had a .400 OBP, brought home five tallies, and came around to score seven times.
The Wolves finished the campaign 2-19 overall and 2-14 in the league.
