The Washington County Sheriff’s Office received notification of an arrest warrant out of Linn County for fifty-four-year-old Jerry Leroy Lown, who was being held at the Washington County Jail for driving while barred and awaiting DCI lab results for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.
The warrant out of Linn County was for manufacturing, delivering, or possessing with the intent to deliver methamphetamine less than 5g, a Class C felony. During the initial traffic stop on July 13th in Riverside, where Lown was arrested, he was in possession of a knife, brass knuckles, over $800 in cash, multiple baggies of crystal and tar-like substances, and an electronic scale.
His original bond has since been revoked, and a detainer has been placed with the Linn County Jail. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
