The Iowa State University Extension and Outreach office will offer the Iowa Master Conservationist Program starting September 8th, 2022. The program will take place in Washington and Keokuk Counties and will provide participants with hands-on interaction with the diversity of the state’s natural resources.
The program will consist of both online and in-person meetings, with about 12 hours of the program being completed online and the rest of the program being conducted at the seven meetings. Local experts will lead each meeting to demonstrate how the principles covered in the online curriculum play out locally.
Pre-registration is required for the course, and the course cost is $30, due at the time of enrollment. A meal will also be provided during each in-person meeting. Contact the Iowa State Extension and Outreach Office for more information about the Master Conservationist Program.
