The Lone Tree Historical Museum is ready for visitors Sundays from 2-4 p.m through September 25. Expanded hours will be in place during the Lone Tree Fall Festival Friday August 26 and Saturday August 27, with hours on both days 1-4 p.m.
Visitors can expect to see different decades of history as they walk room through room. The kitchen represents a typical kitchen from the 1950’s. A bedroom will take you back to the 1940’s, and a dining room that is vintage 1940’s and ‘50’s.
Treasurer of the Lone Tree Historical Museum Andrea Brenneman shares her favorite part of the museum, “When you first enter the building you come into which was formerly the living room, it has a fireplace there, and also houses the player and also an old pump organ. I’m the pianist at the Presybeterian Church here in Lone Tree and I’ve played the piano since I was in second grade, so I’m very interested, I love those two pieces.”
The museum is located at 203 S Devoe in Lone Tree. To learn more click here.
