The Washington County Sheriff’s Office cited twenty-nine-year-old Dakota Michael Stocker of Riverside during a traffic stop on Larch Ave & 110th St in Kalona on Sunday, August 7th. The initial charge against Stocker was for expired registration, but during the traffic stop, drug paraphilia and a possible controlled substance were found in Stocker’s possession.
DCI lab results are currently pending for the possible controlled substance. If the results come back, positive Stocker will be charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, which carries a minimum Class D felony charge with a prison sentence of up to five years and a possible fine of $13,660. There is also a pending charge for drug paraphernalia possession.
KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
