The Washington Community School board will meet in regular session this week at the School District Administration Building at 404 West Main St. in Washington. This will be the last meeting before the beginning of the school year, which is set to start on August 23rd, with the back-to-school night for Washington High School being Monday, August 22nd.

The board will review the goals they have set for the upcoming school year as well as review and discuss the action items relating to the upcoming school year. These action items include accepting a bid for school busses, elevating the contract for virtual Spanish Classes at Washington High School, and multiple items from the Iowa Association of School Boards.

The meeting will take place in the main conference room in the Administration Building and will begin at 7 pm this Wednesday. The next Washington Community School Board meeting will be on September 14th in Washington.
