The Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association wrapped up its 2022 postseason awards recently by releasing the all state teams and several area class 1A players were recognized. 

Sigourney finished the summer 19-6 and had the most representation on all state with three players making the cut headlined by first team selection Levi Crawford as a senior infielder. Cade Molyneux was named to the second team and fellow senior Bo Schmidt was on the third team. Highland’s Connor Grinstead helped the Huskies to a 22-4 campaign and he was awarded third team honors. Keota’s Colten Clarahan was a catalyst in the Eagles’ 19-6 season and the senior was awarded the Gary and Sandy Nyhus Leadership Award.
