The Washington County Conservation Board conducted its Regular meeting last Thursday. Several items were on the agenda, including the Annual Report.

Executive Director of Washington County Conservation Zach Rozmus shares what transpired at the event, “We actually had our Annual Report, and that’s a document and kind of an event that we have every single year where we compile a year in review. We do an inventory of all of our equipment, the projects that we’ve done, kind of go over our financial numbers from the previous year and kind of go over all that information. Then after that, we actually do kind of a dinner for our entire staff, our volunteers, and a lot of times our families are able to attend that too. Although we see each other all the time at work, we don’t always get the opportunity to spend time with each other outside of work so it’s always nice to have that event.”

Rozmus adds that it’s always fun to talk about the year in review, especially when the year has been successful and the financial numbers are strong.
