Hit the links in two different ways for a pair of great causes in August. For the first time, the Hillcrest Academy Alumni Association is hosting a “Putt & Pop” fundraiser. This is a family-friendly event for all ages at the Barn Lott Putt-Putt course, Saturday, August 27th from 1-4p.m. After a round of mini-golf, enjoy ice cream floats. The event is open for both spectators and golfers. Funds raised will benefit the Hillcrest Academy Scholarship Fund.

Also on Saturday, August 27th, the Mid-Prairie Athletic Boosters are hosting a four-person best shot tournament at the Kalona Golf Course. You are invited to join the boosters for 18-holes of golf with a 9a.m. shotgun start. Cost is $75 per person with $10 mulligans and various sponsorship opportunities available.
