The Washington Public Library will host its “Berry Berry Delicious” presentation on Wednesday, August 17th, at 6:00 pm. Local growers Aronia Estates and Blueberry Bottom will be giving informational presentations on how they started their farms. Mary Blosser will also explain how she uses Aronia Berries and blueberries in her farmer’s market products.

Library director Cary Ann Siegfried spoke with KCII about this new event. “We have those three groups coming in to talk with us about their businesses, how they work, and give out some more information and advice, so that should be a lot of fun.”

Wednesday morning at 8:45 am will be the YMCA Cards & Coffee Book club meeting, and those planning to attend that event need to register by contacting the Washington Public Library. There is no pre-registration required for the “Berry Berry Delicious” presentation.
