The 150th Lone Tree Fall Festival kicks off this Friday evening at five with a carnival, food vendors, muscle tractor show, a big wheel race and the New Trick Band playing at 8 p.m.
The fun continues on Saturday with a pancake breakfast from 7:30-9:30 a.m. at the Presbyterian Church. The parade starts from North Park at 11:00 a.m. and the Lone Tree Historical Museum will be open 11 a.m. -4 p.m.
Lone Tree Historical Museum President Sid Mills shares what visitors can look forward to at the museum, “At the museum you can find many treasures from Lone Tree’s past. The museum is kind of, we’ve got each of the rooms are set up with a certain era so to speak, like a kitchen from the ‘50’s, a bedroom from the ‘40’s, a gorgeous dining room from probably the ‘40’s or ‘50’s.”
This event is the last stop of the KCII Big Red Radio Summer Town Tour. The KCII Big Red Radio will be broadcasting live from Lone Tree from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
