Indian Hills recently helped make some changes to the Keota School District.
Following the passage of a bond issue by Indian Hills Community College this spring, every high school in the Indian Hills area received a “zoom room.”
The “zoom room” is a room with new chairs, tables, and a large screen TV that is fully installed. This allows students to take online classes while also meeting with their Indian Hills professors face-to-face via zoom . Keota Superintendent Jim Henrich notes that, “[Keota] always likes to grow the opportunity of our kids who take these college classes, while they’re in High-School. It’s a good savings for parents, and it is a good way for kids to get their feet wet before they go off to college.
In addition to the “zoom room,” the counselor’s office received new furniture and had the back wall painted.
The Keota School District begins classes on August 25th, 2022.
