
The Washington Sheriff’s Department received a call from the Jones County Jail that one of their inmates had an active warrant out of Washington County. Forty-four-year-old Joshua Patrick Cudahy of Anamosa was wanted out of Washington County for second-degree theft, a Class D felony. Theft in the second degree is for theft of property exceeding one thousand five hundred dollars but not exceeding ten thousand dollars in value or theft of a motor vehicle not exceeding ten thousand dollars in value. A Class D Felony is punishable with up to five years imprisonment and a fine of up to $7,500.
Cudahy has been issued a $5,000 cash-only bond, and a detainer has been placed with the Jones County Jail. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
