The Washington County Sheriff’s Office received notification from the Henry County Sheriff’s Office that they had a subject in the Henry County Jail with multiple active warrants out of Washington County. Forty-four-year-old Heath Michael Krabill of Mt. Pleasant was wanted out of Washington County for four counts of possession of a controlled substance, 3rd or subsequent offense, and assault on persons in certain occupations, both of which are Class D felonies. Krabill was also wanted out of Washington County for OWI 1st offense, serious injury by vehicle, and driving while his license was revoked.
Krabill was arrested in February following a traffic stop where he was found to be in possession of crystal methamphetamine and multiple prescription pills. Krabill was scheduled to undergo his sentencing hearing on November 11th at the Washington County Courthouse for this incident but was issued a bench warrant after his arrest in Henry County.
Krabill was arrested in Mt. Pleasant on two felonious charges of second-degree theft after stealing a vehicle in Mt. Pleasant to replace the transmission for his car. The police found the car by following the drag marks left on the gravel road and followed the evidence to Krabill’s location.
Krabill has been issued a $20,000 cash-only bond, and a detainer has been placed with the Henry County Jail. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
