Yesterday morning at approximately 7:30, the Washington County Communications Center received a report of a single vehicle wreck in the 1000 Block of Highway 78 near Lake Darling.
John Entsminger of Washington was driving west on Highway 78 in a 2005 Dodge Ram pickup. Entsminger’s vehicle left the road on the north shoulder and lost control. He was transported to University of Iowa Hospitals by Washington County Ambulance.
Brighton Fire, Brighton QRS, Washington Rescue, Iowa State Patrol, Washington County Ambulance and Moore’s towing all assisted at the scene.
