The first season back in the Southeast Iowa Super Conference North Division is off to a blazing start for the WACO volleyball team and it continued on Tuesday when they got out the brooms at home against Lone Tree. 

The Warriors won in straight sets with scores of 25-16, 25-9, and 25-11. Grace Coble jumpstarted a lot of the offense with 24 assists and seven kills. Five of her teammates had multiple kills led by Marie Farmer with eight and Ellah Kissell with seven. Kissell and Katie Leichty collected 10 digs. The team connected on 96% of their serves with 20 aces including 13 from Farmer. 

WACO improves to 8-1 overall, 2-0 in the league, and they hit the road to face Louisa-Muscatine tomorrow. Lone Tree falls to 1-9, 1-1 in conference, and they host Pekin tomorrow.
