The Lone Tree volleyball team picked up a Southeast Iowa Super Conference victory on Thursday when they edged Pekin in five sets at home. 

The Lions pulled out the nail biting win with set scores of 21-25, 25-20, 13-25, 25-16, and 15-11. Riley Krueger was on a mission offensively with 17 kills and Ella Buser tallied 21 assists. Krueger and Alex Dautremont managed 16 digs while Cate Sexton was successful on 18 of 19 serves with two aces. 

The Lions improve to 2-9 overall, 2-1 in the league, and travel to Wapello on Tuesday.
