The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks remain in this week’s top 15 Class 3A volleyball rankings released by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union. The Hawks check in at No. 15 this week. Their high-water mark for the year has been No. 10. Mid-Prairie is 8-5 this year following a four-set loss Thursday at No. 3 West Liberty. They are led by sophomore Dakota Mitchell’s 173 digs and 124 assists and 77 kills from senior Landry Pacha. The Hawks are next on the court Thursday when they return to Tim Grady Gymnasium in Wellman to entertain 14-1, No. 13 in Class 2A Wilton, on Dig Pink Cancer Awareness Night. The match is set for a 7:15 start time.
