The perfect season rolled on for the Columbus Community Wildcat football team with a 49-20 win over Lisbon Friday night. Columbus raced out to a 27-0 halftime lead and never looked back. The ground attack led the way again, as the Wildcats ran for 385 yards and better than 10 yards per carry.

Junior Kaden Amigon led Columbus with 19 carries for 223 yards and 3 touchdowns. Wildcat senior Triston Miller added three scores of his own and rushed for 136 yards on 10 attempts. Amigon also led the Columbus defense with eight tackles, as they limited the Lisbon Lions’ big plays and dropped them to 1-3. At 4-0, Columbus will next head out on the road to take on Pekin.
