The Washington Chamber of Commerce, Elliot Realty Group, and Washington County Hospitals and Clinics are putting on ChoctoberFest this year. Twenty-two businesses in Washington are participating in this year’s celebration, where chocolate lovers can enjoy chocolate samples and treats while taking a stroll through downtown Washington and raise money for breast cancer awareness.
Alisha Davis, the Event Coordinator for the Washington Chamber of Commerce, talked with KCII about the event. “WCHC partners with us on this to support national breast cancer awareness month, and so we partner together to help raise funds for each other’s organizations. This event is all about get people downtown and to get them to check out all the great things going on. This event has really taken off over the last four years; I predict that this event could be our largest event yet.”
Tickets are available for purchase, with VIPink Swag Bags being available for $30, which includes two drink tickets and hors d’oeuvres, and a ChoctoberFest chocolate pass.
