The WACO Warriors volleyball team got rolling again last night when they won all three matches of a quadrangular at Lone Tree. WACO defeated the host Lone Tree in straight sets, winning each set against the Lions by a score of 21-10. The Warriors also swept the Keota Eagles, 21-7 and 21-13, before finishing a perfect night by taking both sets from Cedar Valley Christian.
It was another stellar night for WACO senior setter Grace Coble, as she accumulated six kills, 36 assists, five aces, 14 digs and five blocks across all matches. Senior outside hitter Ellah Kissel lead the Warriors with 16 kills and added two aces, 11 digs and two blocks. Senior Katie Leichty and Emma Wagler combined to hold down the middle of the net with 20 kills and six blocks. Senior libero Jocelyn Fulton also covered every part of the floor with three assists, four aces and 18 digs.
WACO improves to 19-3 and snaps its first skid of back-to-back losses this season. The Warriors are next in action tomorrow night at Wapello.
