The Highland Huskies welcome the Hillcrest Academy Ravens to Riverside Thursday for a Senior Night Southeast Iowa Superconference volleyball showdown. The Huskies come into the match with an overall record of 7-8, they are 2-2 in league play. Last time the Huskies were on the court they dropped two of three matches in pool play at Winfield-Mt. Union as part of the Superconference tournament, beating Pekin, but falling to Holy Trinity Catholic and the home Wolves. For the year, Highland is led by senior MyLei Smith with 143 assists. Junior Sarah Burton leads the way with 123 digs and 105 kills.

Hillcrest Academy is 2-16 this year. They dropped three matches at Harmony High School in the Superconference tournament last week, falling to WACO, New London and the home Warriors. On the year, the Ravens are led by freshman Claire Withrow with 88 assists, sophomore Malia Yoder has a team best 86 digs to go with 67 kills. Highland has won five of the last six in the series including a best of three victory at the Keota tournament earlier this season. The Huskies will honor five seniors including Avery Pierson, Adelynn Kleopfer, MyLei Smith, Lillee Boshart and Jessica Kraus. Action starts tonight at 7:30 at Highland High School.
