The Sigourney-Keota football team ran their current winning streak to four with a 56-3 victory in Eldon over the Cardinal Comets Friday. The Snakes sprinted out of the gate, holding a 21-0 lead after the first quarter and were up 42-0 at half. SK kept a stranglehold on the contest out of the locker room, winning the second half 14-3. The Cobras finished with 317 total yards, 262 on the ground. Cole Clarahan ended with 17 carries 109 yards and a trio of touchdowns. Reid Molyneux, Cole Kindred, Isaac Bruns and Sawyer Stout each had scoring runs. Stout was also three of four through the air for 55 yards. Jake Moore added to the scoring with a 46-yard pick-six. Kale and Cole Clarahan each had an interception and Molyneux led the way with four and a half stops. The Cobras move to 4-2 overall with the win and 3-0 in district ahead of their Homecoming game Friday against Central Decatur.
