Washington County 4-H’s deadline for award nominations was on October 1st, and a date has been set for the 4-H Award Celebration. On November 6th, several awards will be handed out to recognize volunteers who significantly impacted 4-H this year and in the past. Five awards will be given out: Friend of 4-H, Partner in 4-H, 4-H Volunteer of the Year, 4-H Alumni, and 4-H Family of the Year. Awards will also be handed out for 4-Hers of all levels during the event, including awards for record keeping, volunteering, and project management.
