PAWS & More Animal Shelter in Washington was called to assist in the rescue and removal of dozens of cats from a Henry County home in an apparent hoarding situation. Approximately twelve of the cats need more critical care.

PAWS & More has announced that as of Thursday, there will be no adoption fees for the first twenty kittens adopted from the shelter. Those interested in adopting should come by the shelter from Noon-4:00 pm at 1004 1/2 W Madison St in Washington.

Donations are also needed for the medical care of the cats and kittens, with donation information being available at the PAWS & More Animal Shelter website.
