Funeral services for 83-year-old Lyle Emerson Whitacre of Brighton will be held at 11a.m. Wednesday October 12 at Gould Funeral Home in Brighton  Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.  Visitation will be 10 to 11 A.M. immediately before the funeral.  Memorials for Hospice Compassus may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family.
