Hillcrest Academy is celebrating their Homecoming Weekend October 14 and 15. Festivities kick off with the Steel Wheels concert in Celebration Hall at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday’s activities begin with the Joetown Classic 5K at 9:30 a.m. Participants can register for the event at getmeregistered.com/joetownclassic5K, with proceeds supporting Hillcrest Academy and the Alumni Association. The KCII Big Red Radio will be broadcasting live from 8-11 a.m.

The Annual Pork Supper hosted by the junior class is scheduled for Saturday at 4:30p.m. in the school gymnasium. Admission is $5 for children ages 4-12, $9 dollars for seniors 65 and up, and $10 dollars for adults.The meal will include pulled pork, baked potatoes, salads, dinner rolls, and a variety of deserts. Carnitas street taco and frijoles charros options are available, as well as takeout meals. 

To conclude Homecoming Weekend, an alumni soccer game will be held at approximately 7:30 p.m. following the Pork Supper.
