Runners for the Sigourney Savages and Keota Eagles got to strut their stuff when Sigourney hosted the South Iowa Cedar League Cross Country Championships on Tuesday. While the Savages didn’t qualify for the team standings, Sigourney sophomore Reanah Utterback was a girls’ medalist after finishing fourth in a time of almost 23 minutes and 54 seconds. Freshmen Ellie and Addison Yates also medaled to earn all-conference. Ellie Yates was eighth, clocking in at 24 minutes and 38 seconds, while Addison Yates crossed the finish line 13th in just under 25:54

Freshman Troy Klett finished eighth in the boys’ race with a time of just under 20 minutes and 7 seconds. Sophomore Dawson Meyer was 27th in 23:03. Sophomore Owen Morris, the lone runner representing Keota, ended up 37th in just over 24 minutes flat.
