The community of Ainsworth is coming together to celebrate its Fall Festival on Saturday, October 29th from 9:00 a.m. to midnight or later.
The festival began last year, when members of the Ainsworth Community Together group met to discuss ways to keep Ainsworth and its community active.
Patrons will be able to enjoy a wide range of activities and entertainment during the festival. From 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., there will be a vendor craft show at the opera house, with rotating stage entertainment ranging from ti-Kwan-do to accordion players. At 10:00 a.m., there will be a car show. At 1:00 p.m., there will be free children’s games. At 2:00 p.m., there will be a corn hole tournament. The Old Threshers Comedy Players will also perform at the opera house from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., with doors opening at 4:30 p.m.
During the fall festival, there will also be garage sales, a parade, food trucks, and a hay-wagon taxi service.
