The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report that a wanted man out of Washington County was turning himself in at the Sheriff’s Office. Thirty-nine-year-old Christopher John Wulf was arrested for Assault with Intent or Display of a Weapon and Willful Injury Causing Serious Injury, a Class C Felony.

The original incident occurred on October 15th when a woman reported to deputies that Wulf was “trying to kill her.” Wulf left in a vehicle before the authorities arrived on the scene. When the deputies arrived on the scene, they noticed substantial swelling and bruising to the female’s face, arms, and neck, and a freshly split lip as it had not scabbed over and showed blood. The female told officers that on October 10th Wulf had also beaten her that day using a broom handle, hammer handle, baling twine, and his open hands to beat her, causing some of the injuries.

Wulf was transported to the Washington County Jail and has been issued a $100,000 cash-only bond, and the initial hearing has been set for October 27th at 11:00 am at the Washington County Courthouse. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
