The Washington City Council met in regular session on Tuesday. The council approved a pair of special event requests for Hospice of Washington County and Mama Llama’s Barn. The council agreed to award a contract for the upcoming water main project and approved an agreement for parking ticket enforcement between the City of Washington and Washington County. A pair of first readings were also approved for speed and stop-required zones. The board also approved sending an amended agreement back to the YMCA for their evaluation. The YMCA Board of Directors will meet on Monday to discuss this amended agreement.
The next meeting of the Washington City Council will be Tuesday, November 1st, at 6:00 pm in the Council Chambers at Washington City Hall.
