Washington County Conservation is looking to both engage and educate with their annual Halloween Hike event.
The Halloween Hike event aims to educate the general public on a wide range of nature-themed topics by providing a fun path filled with activities, visuals, and more. This year’s event will focus on Nocturnal Animals and will take place at Marr Park on Saturday, October 22nd from 6:00-8:00pm. The path for the event will begin at Mary Marr Lodge, continue through the woods, onto a paved path that circles the park’s large pond, and conclude at the nature center. Participants will be put into groups. The last time you can line up for the trail is at 7:30 p.m. At 7:30 p.m., a movie will also be shown at the nature center.
The event is free and open to the public; no registration is required. Children can dress up in their Halloween costumes.
