The Washington Public Library is hosting a Nothing but Iowa Trivia Night fundraising event on Thursday, November 3rd, from 7:00-9:00 pm. The Jeopardy-style trivia night will feature exclusively Iowa-based trivia questions will all the proceeds going to help the Washington Public Library Foundation.
There are currently Silent Auction items available for bidding at the Washington Public Library, which will be on display until the trivia night on November 3rd.
Karen Moenck, one of the event’s organizers, talked with KCII Radio about this newly formed event. “This is our first time, and perhaps the only time we do this, depending on how it goes. But we made this trivia night so that we could highlight the state of Iowa, so all the questions are going to be about the state of Iowa and its history. The silent auction items are all from Iowa, with some stores providing items to bid on while others have handcrafted their items.”
Teams for the trivia night will consist of four people, and the registration fee is $10, per person, with the payment being due at the door the day of the event. A link for registration can be found at the bottom of the article.
